Abstract
163,396. Lake, A. E., and Beckwith, B. Jan. 16, 1920. Pivoting-adjustments for casements and doors comprise a pivot pin C carried by a plate A secured to the framing F, and a socket member B<2> secured to the movable member G, a bolt D passing through the socket flap-members B<1>, B<3>, with a screw-threaded end on which is a nut with a handle E. By the adjustment of the handle, the socket member binds on the pivot pin and the casement &c. is held in an adjusted position. The plane of the attachment flaps of the hinge member is substantially parallel to the axis of the hinge pin. The handle E is situated on the inside portion of the casement. In a modification, the sleeve H is integral with the socket attachment member.
