496,407. Hooks. SMITH & DAVIS, Ltd., and DAVIS, F. L. June 9, 1937, No. 15946. [Class 89 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] A hook for attaching suspension chains 11 to articles such as mirrors, comprises a strip of metal bent into a loop 8 and adapted to be secured to the mirror &c. by a single fastening member passing through aligned holes in both ends of the strip and thus closing the hook. The strip has a square portion 5 with spikes 7 to prevent the bracket turning and the hole in the end 9 of the strip is plunged or countersunk to take the head of the screw.
