Abstract

465,686. Hooks. STEIGENBERGER, F. April 9, 1936, No. 10427. [Class 89 (ii)] The hook 3 formed on the end of the shank 5 is moused by the sliding sleeve 6, the sleeve being held in the closing position by the spring 15. In a modification the sleeve is retracted from a distance by a cord connection. The sleeve is prevented from rotating on the body by the tongue 9 engaging a recess in the hook body.
