Abstract

1393169 Adaptors for electronic tubes PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 7 July 1972 [10 July 1971] 31953/72 Heading H2E A signal electrode contact 13 on the envelope of a TV camera tube is connected to a plug 21 mounted on the housing 16 of a coil surrounding the tube. The contact 13 is connected via a lead 12 to the signal electrode 11 adjacent the tube input window 2 and a metal spring is mounted in an insulating membr 15 on the housing 16 to bear against the contact 13. The plug 21 is screwed into an opening 20 in the housing and carries a conductor 22 within an insulator 23, one end 29 bearing against the spring 14 and the other end 27 formed as a plug contact surrounded by a space 28 within a metal cylindrical screening part 24 of the plug.
