Abstract

1391606 Load transporting AGRICULTURE FISHERIES & FOOD MINISTER OF 30 June 1972 [31 March 1971] 8306/71 Heading B8B A load transporting system comprises a load supporting carriage 14 running along a stationary cable 11, a pair of pulleys 22, 23 which are interconnectible by a clutch, and a pair of cables 15, 16 wound round the pulleys a sufficient number of times to prevent slipping, the cable 16 passing directly to the carriage 14 whilst the cable 15 extends round a pulley 17 at the far end of the cable 11 prior to being connected to the carriage. Motor driven drums 3, 4 drive the cables 15, 16. The cable 16 carries a hook 20 which, when the cable 15 is braked, can be lowered.
