138,073. Macnair, G. Jan. 17, 1920. Pulley-blocks and pulley-tackle.-In multiple pulley hoisting gears of the kind comprising upper and lower pulley-blocks each carrying three pulleys of equal diameters, the central pulley d of each block is formed integral with, or fixed to, an axle g upon which the other pulleys e, e<1> rotate. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also descriptions of various awangements of integral or geared sheaves in which each sheave turns so that there is no relative motion between its periphery and the rope passing round it, some of these arrangements being described as applied to boat-lowering tackle and hydraulic lifting-apparatus. This subject - matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
