Boat-lowering gear.-In boat-lowering gear in which duplex falls are employed at each end of the boat, one fall f runs outward over pulleys d, e on a horizontally-sliding girder-davit b with turned-up end. The second fall j runs over a fixed pulley k and is attached to the boat together with the fall f. A feature of the invention is that the falls f, j are wound on separate winch drums h, l. The davit b telescopes in a fixed girder a which serves as a deck-supporting girder.
