Abstract
1376846 Ni base alloy MARTIN MARIETTA CORP 27 Jan 1972 3970/72 Addition to 1317211 Heading C7A A heat-treatable nickel base alloy, suitable for use in gas turbine blades, comprises:- Al 3.5-5% B 0.005-0.05% C 0.05-0.13% Co 14-20% Cr 14.2-17% Hf 0.8-2% Mo 3.9-6% Ti 3-4% and Zr up to 0.3% the balance, apart from impurities such as up to 0.1% Cu, 0.13% Fe, up to 0.1% Mn, up to 0.1% Si and 0.004% S, being Ni. The alloys described and claimed in Specification 1317211 are disclaimed. The alloys may be heated at 1149- 1177‹C furnace cooled at 50-61 Centigrade degrees per hour to 1080‹C. cooled to room temperature and reheated to 760‹C for long enough to precipitate gamma prime phase.
