Abstract
1,177,391. Nickel alloys. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. March 22, 1967 [Aug.24, 1966], No.13351/67. Heading C7A. A wrought Ni-base alloy consists, by weight, of C 0À 2-0 À3% B 0À005-0À02% Co 14-16% Cr 9-12% Mo 3-4% W 5-6% Ti 4À5-6% # Al + Ti = 8-9% Ti # 3-4% Zr 0-0 05% Ni and impurities - balance. The alloy may be solution treated at about 2200 F., furnace air cooled, and then triple aged, first at 2000F. followedby furnace air cooling, second at 1550F. followed by air cooling, and third at 1400 F. followed by air cooling. Reference is made to the production of turbine blades.
