Abstract

1371224 Watches SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 19 Nov 1971 [28 Nov 1970(2)] 53889/71 Heading G3T A water-protected watch case 36 comprises an annular case body 27, a case back 28, and a deformable sealing member 40 a portion 41 of which is radially compressed between portions of the body and back and is engaged by a rearwardly facing surface 35a of the body and a back surface 28a which is parallel thereto. The sealing member 40 is of synthetic resin and the seal thus provided forms the sole means of securing the case back to the body. A further portion 42 of the member 40 supports watch movement 43.
