Abstract

1343997 Watches SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 4 Oct 1971 [8 Oct 1970] 46073/71 Heading G3T In a watch 10 having a case body 11 with a separate back 12, a movement 21 is spaced from portions of the body and back by a supporting ring 20 provided with shock-absorbing means 30, 31. The means 30, 31 are formed of synthetic resin or rubber in the form of relatively hard and soft rings respectively. The ring 30 may be integral with the supporting ring (20), Fig.2 (not shown). In a further alternative form, the ring 20 is fitted with circumferentially spaced resilient metal members (45), Fig.3 (not shown) which co-operate with tapered surfaces on the case body and back; the members (45) may also be of resin or may be replaced by a single annular member.
