Abstract

1361321 Watches DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 5 June 1972 [5 June 1971 (2)] 26168/72 Heading G3T A watch glass 30 is bonded to a support ring 23 and attached to a cup-shaped case body 12 by means of a bezel 32 which extends between the body and ring and is pressed by first and second gaskets 21, 28 held in grooves 20, 27 therein. The bezel is retained by the gaskets and by sloping surfaces 36, 37 on the bezel and body, in such a position that the support ring 23 is pressed axially against a further gasket 25 of silicone rubber to retain a movement-holding ring 22. Removal of the bezel is facilitated by a notch 44 adjacent the upper surface 19 of the body 12. In an alternative arrangement, the first gasket (47), Fig. 2 (not shown) is of hard plastics and extends to the surface 19, and flange 34 of the bezel presses on a shoulder (51) of the glass 30.
