Abstract

1386101 Watch cases OMEGA LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE S A 19 Jan 1973 [6 March 1972] 10309/72 Heading G3T A case bezel 6 is sealed to a glass 3 and a body 2 with integral back by means of a gasket 7 which is compressed radially between an inner surface 10 of the bezel and outer surfaces 8, 9 of the glass and body respectively, removal of the bezel being facilitated by holes 11 in the body 2 so that an under surface 12 of the bezel can be engaged by a tool. The glass is snap-fitted in the bezel and presses on a ring 5 and thus on a dial 4 to hold movement 1 axially. The dial may be dished Figs. 2 and 5 (not shown), and the gasket 7 of stepped or L-shaped form Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown). An O-ring (17), Fig. 3 (not shown), may be fitted between the glass and the body 2. The tool for disassembly may be an anvil with projections to suit the holes 11, or the latter may be threaded to receive extractor screws.
