Abstract

1411840 Watches DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 28 Nov 1973 [8 Dec 1972] 55146/73 Heading G3T In a watchcase having a glass support ring 23 which is sealed to a body 26, e.g. by a gasket 27, and a glass 21 which is sealed to the support ring by a gasket 24 compressed radially between the glass and an upwardly directed flange 22 on the ring, a bezel 30 is fitted on the ring around the flange to prevent outward deflection thereof. The bezel is also stated to prevent twisting of the ring and consequential inward deflection of a second flange 25 which presses radially on the gasket 27. The gaskets 24, 27 are of synthetic rubber; the gasket 24 may be replaced by a rectangular one, (34), Fig. 3 (not shown), and the gasket 27 by an L-shaped one (35). A back 31 is sealed to the body 26 by a further gasket 32.
