Abstract

1349703 Watch case SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 15 March 1972 [26 March 1971 14 April 1971] 12071/72 Heading G3T A watch movement is mounted out of contact with a watch case using axially spaced resilient ring members. In the embodiment shown, a watch movement 4 is resiliently supported in an annular case body 1 by axially spaced resilient rings 2, 6 of rubber or plastics, which may be of circular or other cross-section, and may be formed as parts of a single member. One ring 6 co-operates with the case back 7 which can be screwed in or integral with the case body, the other ring cooperating with the case body 1 or a ring (27) Figs. 2, 4 (not shown) which is a screw or bayonet fit therein. Ring 6 may be formed integrally with frame 5, and dial 8 with dial ring 3. If formed separately, rings 2, 6 may be stuck to dial ring 3 or frame 5, which may be of plastics or metal e.g. soft iron. The watch movement may be mechanical or electronic.
