1311635 Watches A SCHOLLER and E BANDELIER 14 June 1971 [19 June 1970] 27705/71 Heading G3T In a watertight watch case having a part such as a bottom or a glass 2 sealed to a case body or bezel 1 by means of a gasket 3 which is of L-shaped cross-section and which is compressed between the bottom or glass and a housing recess, a step 6 is provided along at least part of the lateral wall 4 of the recess to aid retention therein. The gasket 3 is of a named synthetic resin and is attached to the bottom or glass 2 prior to their assembly in the recess by means of a fitting ring (7), Fig. 2, (not shown) and a push-member 8.
