Abstract
1345345 Watches SUWA SEIKOSHA K K 24 Nov 1971 [3 Dec 1970] 54640/71 Heading G3T In a watch case having a synthetic resin body 14 including a portion 15 which surrounds and engages a glass 16 a metallic ring 20 of L-shaped cross-section is partly embedded in the portion 15 as a reinforcement. The ring 20 may be provided with circumferentially spaced apertures as at 25, which become filled with resin as the body 14 is moulded around the ring 20, thus locating the latter. The rim 22 of the glass 16 is reinforced by a clamp ring 23. An arrangement is also envisaged in which the limb 21 of the ring 20 extends to the upper surface 27 of the portion 15.
