Abstract

934,018. Clocks and watches. ENICAR S.A. Feb. 13, 1962 [Feb. 16, 1961], No. 5413/62. Class 139. A watch glass 2 has a thickened outer peripheral rim which is divided by a groove 3 sunk from the inner or concave side of the glass, the radially inner surface of the groove being inclined and faceted as at 7, 8 so that rays of light entering the glass are reflected. The radially outer part 2a of the rim engages a bezel 1 and is provided with a reinforcing ring 5. In a modification, this reinforcing ring is omitted and the glass has a bevelled edge engaging a correspondingly shaped recess in the bezel.
