Abstract
1338629 Watches SUWA SEIKOSHA K K 15 Dec 1971 [21 Dec 1970] 58266/71 Heading G3T A watch glass 15 has a surface 16 of which a part or parts only are provided with an antireflection coating. In the arrangement shown, a central region 20 of the upper surface of the glass is provided with a coating of magnesium fluoride, areas 21, 22 remaining uncoated so that the visual effect is as if facets were cut in the glass. A number of coated regions may be provided and the lower surface 23 of the glass may be coated in correspondence with the upper surface; alternatively the whole of surface 23 may be coated. Time index marks may be provided as coated areas on the inner glass surface or as uncoated areas in a coated region.
