Abstract

1332730 Watches B LOEB 7 Dec 1971 [8 Dec 1970] 56871/71 Heading G3T A wristwatch comprises an inner case portion 1 which is provided with a side wall 3, a base 4, and a glass 2 and which is releasably fastened in a peripheral case portion 6 so that the latter may be reversed with respect to the portion 1 to present either of its different opposed faces to the viewer and thus alter the appearance of the watch. The portion 6 is formed of two parts 6a, b which are joined along a median plane and may be of different metals or have a different ornamentation or surface finish. An internal groove 10 in the portion 6 contains a wire spring 11 to engage a corresponding groove 9 in the portion 1. The part 6a is further provided with a catch 14 which engages in one of two depressions 13 in the portion 1.
