Abstract

1,117,966. Ear-rings. HASTINGS CORPORATION. 9 Feb., 1967, No. 6285/67. Heading A3H. [Also in Division E2] An ear-ring comprises a head 20 and a shaft 12 having a portion 14 joined to a portion 16 of reduced diameter by a shoulder 18. An ornamental clip 28 has a central aperture into which the shaft is pushed and two arms 38 which engage a groove 26 in the portion 16 and abut the shoulder 18. The shoulder 18 prevents further movement of the clip along the shaft and thereby prevents injury to the ear lobe.
