Abstract

1368427 Hooks SIEBE GORMAN & CO Ltd 9 Sept 1971 [9 Oct 1970] 48197/70 Heading E2A A safety hook comprises two parts namely a hook part and a mousing piece, each part including integrally formed cooperating means pivoting the mousing piece to the hook part and one of said parts including an integrally formed spring means 11 for urging the mousing. piece to a position in which it closes the mouth of the hook part. In the construction shown the spring means is integrally formed with the mousing piece; the hook parting 10 includes an aperture 20 for attachment purposes and it also includes a tooth 18 which in the closing position of the mousing piece engages a slot 17 in the mousing piece.
