904,290. Watches. FABRIQUE DE BOITES LA CENTRALE S.A. Jan. 16, 1961 [Jan. 21, 1960], No. 1681/61. Class 139. A watch comprises a movement 1 fixed to a supporting ring 3 within the case-band bezel 4. The back 8 is screwed or otherwise fixed to the ring 3, a resilient or metal backing 10 being interposed between a flange 8a and the case-band bezel 4. The glass 5 is press fitted within the caseband 4 and abuts the ring 3. A reinforcing ring 6 engages the glass. In another example, the back has an upstanding flange which engages projections on the supporting ring and which compresses the packing radially and axially. In another example, the supporting ring is of plastic material and receives an upstanding flange on the back, no packing being provided. Specification 904,289 is referred to.
