Abstract

1368591 Plastics crates SVEIN STRÍMBERG & CO AS 21 March 1973 [21 March 1972] 13651/73 Heading B8P A crate has vertical corner columns connected by upper and lower horizontal beams of U- section there being a displaceable cross-bar in at least one side opening giving access to the contents. The hollow members are stiffened by spacers 13 and the inside corners are curved. The base may be of lattice formation 10 or have circular holes with upstanding ribs (21 and 10<SP>111</SP>. Fig. 11), the latter stiffening the base and separating the articles. The cross-bar 5 is guided in slideways in the vertical columns and has finger grips 5<SP>11</SP>. The upper edge 12 is bevelled and the base has a co-operating projection 8 to facilitate stacking. Drainage holes 11 are provided. The top of a side opening that gives access to the contents may be provided with hand grips. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,150,673.
