Abstract

948,898. Stackable containers. BRADLEY & CO. Ltd. Nov. 3, 1962, No. 41669/62. Heading B8P. A sliding lid b for a stackable container has a downwardly directed transverse flange b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP> which engages the edge a<SP>2</SP> of the container and upstanding projections b<SP>4</SP> within which an upper container may be located. The angleshaped corner pieces may be connected so as to form a frame of angle section, alternatively studs may be provided on the lid b within which an upper container may be socketed. An upper container can be located in the open tops of a lower container for stacking purposes. Handles are provided in the container walls.
