Abstract

1312701 Bottle crates FAIN SpA 30 April 1970 20849/70 Heading B8P A bottle crate formed from plastics sheet material comprises a top wall 1 with apertures 5 for the bottles, a grate structure forming a bottom wall and connected to the top wall by ribs 12 which define recesses for the bottles, and four continuous side walls. The grate structure shown comprises sleeves 13 connected to frustoconical membranes 10 which can receive the tops of bottles in a crate beneath, radial ribs 8 and 9, and circumferential ribs 11. The shape and arrangement of the membranes and ribs may be of various forms (Figs. 9 and 10, not shown). End walls 4 have handle openings with reinforced edges and with reinforcing ribs (20) and 21. The top and bottom walls have respectively stacking projections 24 and seats.
