Abstract
1,239,041. Blow-moulded plastics containers. MAUSER K.G. 3 July, 1968 [13 July, 1967], No. 31764/68. Heading B8D. A blow moulded plastics container has along the top and bottom a reinforcing rib 1 lying in a recess so as not to hinder stacking, and extending at least part way along the sides to prevent buckling when stacked. The rib at the top is apertured for use as a carrying handle 3. The rib may have a T-shape cross-section and perforations at regular intervals. The pouring nozzle may lie within the rib or externally of it and the top recess may be open away from the nozzle to facilitate pouring towards the back of the container. A grip recess (6), Fig. 6 (not shown), may be provided at the bottom of the container.
