Abstract

1,030,944. Stockable and nestable containers. SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ N.V. Sept. 2, 1964 [Sept. 4, 1963], No. 35946/64. Heading B8P. A stackable and nestable container has shelves 35, Fig. 1 (not shown), formed in two opposite inwardly offset portions 33, 34 of the side walls and a shelf 23, Fig. 2 (not shown), in a third side wall 22. The container walls are upwardly divergent to facilitate manufacture and nesting, and the portions 33, 34 are of greatest length at their lowest extremities. In the stacking position an identical container turned end for end rests on the shelves. When containers are nested projections 24, 25, 37, 38 rest on the shelves of the container below and prevent wedging. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 965,594.
