Abstract

1363895 Centrifugal pumps A BLUM 29 Nov 1971 [30 Nov 1970] 55283/71 Heading F1C In an arrangement comprising an electric motor-pump unit which is submersible in a liquid container and is guided during lowering into position by a guide element 24 co-operating with guide means 23 and of which the delivery branch 19 in its lowered position is in connection through a connection pedestal 11 with the inlet of a delivery conduit, the guide element is carried by a flange-like intermediate connecting piece 20 which is separately made and secured to the delivery branch. The pedestal 11, which can be fixed in the container, is provided with a passage opening 131 for the pumped liquid and serves as an abutment for the connecting piece 20, the inlet elbow 18 of the delivery conduit being secured to the opposite side of the pedestal. The guide means 23, in the form of a tube is located on a spigot 22. An annular seal 21 is provided.
