Abstract

1355778 Two part couplings FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 21 Aug 1972 [20 Sept 1971] 38864/72 Heading H2E Four walls 12, 14, 16, 18 defining a rectangular box are integrally connected at three corners and are locked together at the fourth corner by engagement of a tab 20 in a slot 22. Fingers 26 are bent down inside the box to provide resilient contact portions 28 for a mating blade contact. (In Fig. 4 one set of fingers is shown only partially bent). Recurved portions 32 engage the walls 12, 16 to provide uniform contact pressure over the length of portions 28. Lips 36 engage the contact portions 28 to limit their deflection.
