Abstract

1484730 Connectors SIEMENS AG 16 Aug 1974 [27 Sept 1973] 36087/74 Heading H2E Contacts 15 are held in an insulating housing 2 by a cover 1 having projections 11 engaging in recesses (not shown) and a rib 24 engaging a lip 25, these means locking the assembly against separation in either A or B directions. Lugs 3, 4, 5 of contacts extend through narrow apertures in cover 1 and contact springs 15 are enclosed in helper springs 12. The cover is said to seal the contacts from solder vapour emanating from the lug region.
