Abstract

1369752 Two part couplings AMP Inc 17 July 1972 [3 Aug 1971] 33313/72 Addition to 1362416 Heading H2E A ring main wall outlet comprises a housing 18 formed with two socket outlet points 19, a rear cover 20, and amounting bracket 50 having. arms 52 with slots 54 to latch over lugs 56 on the cover 20. The wires of a cable 6 are separated and received in slotted-plate insulation-slicing terminals 22 and are as described in the main Specification. The central terminal 22 (Fig. 3) is integrally formed with two socket contacts 100, 100<1> for round earth pins. The outer two terminals 22 are each formed with a pair of socket contacts 82, 82<1> (Fig. 2), for flat blade power pins, a blade being received between a plate 84 and an edge 90. A tab portion (144, Fig. 6, not shown) of the mounting bracket, 50 engages a lance 112 of the earth terminal 94.
