Abstract
1348910 Printing apparatus INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 27 Oct 1971 [23 Nov 1970] 49818/71 Heading B6C [Also in Division C7] An electrographic printing apparatus, in which electrostatically charged particles are caused to adhere imagewise to a photoconductive or dielectric member 10, which may be a cylinder or an endless band, and transferred to a copy sheet 14 at a station where an electrically conductive brush 26 presses the sheet 14 against the image-bearing member and an electric potential applied to the brush attracts the particles from the image-bearing member to the copy sheet. The brush may be either rotary or flat, and its bristles 25 may be of stainless steel or of a plastics material with a metal coating applied electrolessly and comprising Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Au, Pt or Rh.
