[Also in Division G2] A print is obtained on a web 83 of paper or plastic from an electrostatic record, comprising both negative and positive charges developed by a mixture of positively and negatively charged toner particles of opposite triboelectric properties relative to the carrier member which applies them to the electrostatic record, by applying an A.C. field via an electrically conducting rubber roller 84 across the particle image-bearing member 10 and the web to transfer the particles-to the web.
