Abstract
1326656 Escapements WERKZEUGMASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKON-BUHRLE A G 23 April 1971 [1 May 1970] 10956/71 Heading G3T [Also in Division F3] An adjustable escapement mechanism for delaying arming of a projectile fuse, comprises a toothed escapement wheel 42 co-operating with an escapement lever 22 which pivots about a pin 24 passing through a bore 23 in the lever. The pin can be moved axially to bring a portion of greater or lesser diameter into the bore 23 whereby the distance between the fulcrum of the lever and the centre of the wheel is adjustable to alter the running time of the mechanism.
