Abstract

1314782 Coaxial connectors BUNKERRAMO CORP 29 Sept 1971 [7 Oct 1970] 45414/70 Heading H2E A connector for a coaxial cable 30 comprises a ferrule having a small diameter portion 20 which passes between insulation 34 and braid 36 of the cable, an intermediate diameter portion 16 with a circumferential groove therein, and a large diameter portion 14 which provides a stop for the apertured end wall of union nut 12, a rearwardly projecting circumferential portion 26 of the nut being bent over into the circumferential groove of portion 16 to captivate the nut. The cable is secured to the ferrule by crimping ferrule 40 acting on outer insulation 38.
