Abstract

1298723 Building frameworks O FURTER and A HENGGELER 17 March 1970 [20 March 1969] 12690/70 Heading E1K In a network of intersecting structural units 14, 15, each unit comprises two parallel bars in each of two spaced planes, the bars having recesses 26 facillitating intersection of the bars in the same plane. Spacer plates 27 have tabs 28 in the recesses of bars 20-23 and inclined sides between bars 20, 21 and 22, 23 and are apertured at 100. The ends of the units are welded to an inner frame (17, 18, 21, 23, Fig. 1; not shown) which is secured by a plate 31 to outer frame 1. U-shaped clamps (8, 9) on the outer frame have registerable strips and notches so that two coplanar assemblies may be joined together.
