1326878 Joints STERNCO INDUSTRIES Inc 9 Feb 1972 [25 Aug 1971] 6011/72 Heading A4H [Also in Division B8] Three mutually perpendicular frame members 15, 16, 17 having mitred ends are connected by a clip (37) having three branches 39, 41, 43, each of which fits between a pair of ribs 29, 28; 30, 31; 32, 33 of a frame member and has notches (57-62) into which adjacent sections 63-68 of the ribs extend. The ribs 29-33 are taller than the thickness of the branches and sections 69-80 of the ribs overlie the connector clip to prevent lateral movement thereof. The portions 63-80 of the ribs are simultaneously swaged inwardly to engage the connector clip by a punch (82) having a set of three die elements (85-87) for each frame member.
