Abstract

1279888 Building framework R DIETRICH 24 Nov 1969 [22 Nov 1968] 57333/69 Headings E1A and E1K A building frame comprises frame elements 1 each having two upright sides and two horizontal sides and corner portions more rigid than the sides, four frame elements defining a cell. The frame is supported by and extends freely from an upright puller and is filled in by floor plates 2 and wall panels 4, 5. Each frame element comprises a rectangular unitary member or a member of U-shaped and L-shaped members 13 connected at their ends to form a rectangle. The elements are of T-shape cross-section, the web (7) carrying lugs 9, 10 for connection to adjacent elements. and being enlarged at the corners. In Fig. 4 (not shown) the elements are of U-shaped cross-section, joined by connectors (21, 23). (For Figure see next column)
