1337949 Glazing J C MACKAY 19 April 1971 [31 Dec 1969] 63445/69 Heading E1R A glazing bar comprises two channels 11 opening on opposite sides of the bar and arranged to receive the edges of staggered parallel sheets 18, the edges of the sheets being locatable in a single plane, the bar including a recess between the channels to receive fixing means 19, 20. Bolts 19 and cleats 20 secure the bar to purlin 21. Shees 18 are retained by spring metal strips 17.
