Abstract

1298629 Flyer with false twist device CHAVANOZ SA 17 June 1970 [26 June 1969] 29466/70 Heading DID A guide comprises a rigid member 1 having means for mounting it on a spindle and a centre of symmetry on its rotational axis and at least one orifice 2 for the passage of yarn displaced from the rotational axis, the guide also carrying a false twist locking means 4. As described, the rigid member is a circular or elliptical disc and the false twist member comprises two parallel bars mounted in upright supports. The disc may be fixed to, or rotate on, the spindle. In use the guide is used to spin fancy yarn, either by itself or in combination with a plain delivery spindle.
