Abstract
1,116,419. Two-for-one twisting apparatus. G. GRIGOLIN. 25 May, 1966 [26 May, 1965], No. 23292/66. Heading DID. In two-for-one twisting apparatus, a support 5 for the material being worked is prevented from rotating by being mounted eccentrically in bearings on a horizontal hollow shaft 2. The shaft is arranged in bearings 3 and carries a protector 7 and a guide 6 for the yarn which leaves the shaft through a short inclined tube 8. The support may carry a package of doubled yarn or two packages of singles yarn.
