1297522 Tufting machines SINGER CO (UK) Ltd 9 June 1970 [12 July 1969] 35210/69 Heading DIG In a tufting machine using yarns which are dyed individually between a creel and the machine, a yarn path corrector for each yarn comprises a yarn guide 17 which is adjustable transversely of the yarn path Y<SP>1</SP>, Y<SP>2</SP> and located before the feed rollers 12. The guides 17 are pig tail guides mounted in staggered holes (24), (Fig. 1 not shown), disposed in two rows in each of two rails 22. The guides 17 may be friction fits in the holes (24) or may be locked by screws. The yarns pass from a tube bank 16 past a first guide bar 14, a respective guide 17 and a second guide bar 13 to the feed rollers 12. (For Figure see next page)
