Abstract

128,469. Sizaire, M. Sept. 12, 1917. Addition to 128,299. Valves; valve-gear. - A reciprocating sleeve valve 10 and a concentric beat or lift valve 3 control exhaust and inlet ports respectively, as described in the parent Specification. Both valves are actuated by an overhead shaft 5 which rotates in bearings 7. A cam 4 actuates the inlet valve, and a pair of connecting-rods 9 reciprocates the sleeve valve.
