Abstract

1,257,443. Refrigerators. ULGOR S.C.I. 25 Feb., 1970 [27 Feb., 1969], No. 8964/70. Heading F4H. A refrigerator drip tray has an upper panel 2 whose rear edge is formed with apertures to permit air flow between the upper and lower parts of the refrigerator. The apertures have hoods 8 to prevent condensate from dripping through them. A hit and miss damper plate 9 controls the air flow through the apertures. The plate 9 is operated by a knob 16 through a shaft and a crank mechanism, Figs. 3 and 5 (not shown). The tray includes insulation 3, a lower panel 1, and a drain outlet 5.
