A combined cooker-refrigerator comprises a hot plate 6 mounted above a refrigerator 5, an oven 7 spaced above the hotplate 6 and a grill 8. The grill 8 may be arranged within the oven 7, and a plate rack 9 is mounted below the sloping under surface of the oven. The oven, grill and refrigerator may be operated by gas or electricity. A gas operated absorption type refrigerator has an air inlet and outlet 19, 20 at the front above and below the door respectively, connected by passage 25 at the rear of the radiator unit 17. A plate 26 between the refrigerator and the hot plate 6 prevents the combustion product of the refrigerator interfering with the action of the hot plate burners.
