Classes 39(3) and 126 Grilling apparatus forming part of an electric cooker comprises a grilling element a placed at the top of a compartment isolated from spillage from boiling plates and containing a drawer running on runners c within which a grill pan p with grid m is so mounted on runners h, j that, when the drawer is withdrawn from the compartment, the grill pan p can be withdrawn from either side of it. As shown, the compartment is situated beneath the base n of the oven, element a being removably mounted at the top of the compartment and an auxiliary element d being provided beneath the drawer. Element d alone may be energized. The front panel o of the drawer may form a hinged door.
