Abstract
1,247,034. Electrophotographic element. RANK XEROX Ltd. 26 Sept., 1968 [2 Oct., 1967], No. 45825/68. Heading H1K. [Also in Divisions G2-G3] An electrophotographic material is doped with a hole-trapping or electron-trapping impurity throughout the layer or on the surface of the layer so that when charged a surface of the layer is insensitive to radiation. Preferred materials are selenium doped with thallium to produce positive charging and selenium doped with chlorine to produce negative charging. Many other inorganic and organic photoconductors are also listed.
