Abstract

1,138,552. Electrophotography. RANK XEROX Ltd. 17 Jan., 1966 [18 Jan., 1965], No. 2197/66. Heading H1K. The disclosure of the specification is similar to that in Specification 1,138,551, but the claims relate to an electrophotographic imaging process utilizing a photo-ductive material comprising a softenable layer comprising or overlying a complex of a phenol-aldehyde resin and a Lewis acid. Heat softenable layers are preferred and the overlying layer may be Staybelite (R.T.M.) esto resin.
