Abstract

1326514 Positive print from negative RANK XEROX Ltd 28 Oct 1971 [31 Oct 1970] 50256/71 Heading G2H [Also in division C4] A temporary positive photo-chromic print produced from a negative is used as an original in the production of a permanent xerographic print. The photo-chromic material may comprise a spyropyran and have an absorbency peak in the range 550-610 mÁ. The electro-photographic material may comprise zinc oxide and a sensitizing dye having a spectral sensitivity of at least 550 mÁ. Examples of spyropyrans and sensitizing dyes are given.
